Question:    We live in a retirement community and I am often asked if I think a student is too old to learn.

Answer:   I use myself as the example of "old".  I am now almost 68 years old.  I started eBay just a few short years ago.  Sure, sometimes you find the learning curve steep, but if I did it, I think most of us can.

Question:    What level of computer skills do I need to have?

Answer:     I'd like to think a student can do the following:

• Cut and Paste
• Find the Internet
• Know what the word "browser" means
• Save Files
• Type at beginner level

                     

With these basic skills you at least have a base to learn from.  You will add to your skills as you enter into the eBay world. It doesn't mean that you can't come to class. We welcome all levels, but knowing the basics will make it easier to grasp the eBay method.

Question:    Are there any materials to buy?

Answer:      I make available to purchase the latest eBay Training Manual at cost.  Currently the cost is $16.00.

Question:   Will I walk away ready to sell on eBay?

Answer:   You should be able to do this.  For those that get stuck, I am available after the end of class.  I provide my phone number, email address and encourage students to even come to my home.  I don't want anyone to feel lost for more than a few moments.   I taught myself alone.  I don't wish that for anyone!
